Thanks, Debbie! I loved your tips as well – what I love about blogging is how two people can find such different things to focus on, or differing takes on the same topic. It was really fun that we both posted on curb appeal recently!
Quick plantings of annuals/perennials around the mailbox, in window boxes, etc are of course great cheap ways to add color and spruce things up, but if you live in dry/hot areas you really have to be sure that the sprinklers are getting them enough water or be vigilant about hand watering yourself. Otherwise it might end up looking worse than when you started…
